"if you can read this, thank a teacher"

16 of may, a day with a special meaning to celebrate special people for example teacher. Yup 16 of may is teachers day. this is the day where students are suppose to express their gratitude towards their teachers. i mean suppose. but sadly not many are doing it now.

as for me, i grew up with 2 special teachers since the day i was born and and more teachers the day i started my formal education, until today, i am still spending time with teachers. but teachers day seems to be nothing special untill i read the quote above a few years back. then i started thinking

a teacher can be grouped into school teacher, tution teacher, music teacher and many more. and the gerenal term is a person that work in the education field that teach people things they know. My personal term, a person that teach you stuff. which means u don't need to be a teacher to be a teacher. hmmm. a friend can be a teacher, a shopkeeper can be a teacher. even a pet can be a teacher.. haha..

going to keep it short this time. once again, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!!! you are the LED (teachers are smart enough not to burn themselves up =P) for everyone to enlighten us. THANKS!!!

Are we guilty??

while studying biology, i have thought of this. 'Are we guilty??'

WARNING: this post might be againts/affect some way of thinking

here is a part on evolution of the animals according to charles darwin:
"parents will produce more offspring than the population of a species"
and
"the fittest will survive"
and
"who survive depend on the selective advantage and the disadvantage"

to make things clear, an example. a tiger will produce lets say 6 cubs in its life time. and maybe only 1 will stay alive and become an adult and reproduce... that's the idea of charles darwin's law. the other 5 will die as they are so call "not-fit-for-survival"

okay. here is the problem. we as humans is not abiding this law of nature. We reproduce more than our parents generation, (correct for the 1st statement) but the weak will survive and reproduce too(AGAINST 2ND STATEMENT). so now here is the main problem. as the human population increase, more resource is needed correct?? more land is needed. correct?? so this means less place for the animals to walk and roam about.

from statement 3, we as humans are TOTALLY against it. there is this selective preassure on the population causing only the fittest will survive. and this preassure act inwards the curve. but for humans, we are trying to save all living 'HUMANS... all as in the sick, the diseased, those not-fit-to-survive in todays society etc. etc.....this means that the selective preassure is acting outwards. and when this happens, total population will increase and not maintain in a constant oscillating level which is suppose to be. some might think that there are deadly disease around us trying to kill us. so is that a selective preassure?? my answer?? maybe. humans have been given the brain to think and they use it to of course change the selective preasure to an advantage. and when population of humans increase, the animals decrease.

here is what i think. we humans are so selfish that to survive, we kill. we kill other living organisms because we think they are worth dying as the survival of humans is the most important thing this world. we kill 10 tigers because a rubber tapper was scratch by one. we kill the whole river of crocodiles because one of them ate 3 cows from the neighboring farm. we kill the python because it is found under the sink. we kill the trees because it grow directly on where we want to build our house. all this for me is acts of brutality of mankind towards the nature. is it ok if to for a tiger to survive, the tiger kills humans?? you answer yourself...

at the end of the day, human are all guilty in damaging our world. we go against cloning because we say its a act of playing god. but isn't going against nature and making our own selective advantage playing god too?? we do research on how to be more beautiful and worst live longer. isn't that playing god where we don't accept what is given to us??

as conclusion. i, as a human admit i am guilty of all the above. but what can i do?? sigh...

p/s i wonder what other 'living organisms' think about it??

feel like shit this few days.

dont know why.

some might say its the exam,

some might just put it as those so-call-down-times in life...

physically wounded

mentally too

only time can cure me now..

can't wait till the end

where things will be over

feeling enegy-less today
have been draging my legs all around
and also hands and the mind
the lung seems flat
heart beating eratically
its not cause by sleepless nights,
its just a feeling of sick of the days ahead

2 more weeks here it comes

not that i am scared nor happy

maybe just worried maybe just bored

sure not time of being happy go lucky

sure is the time where u give all you have

and hope the return is worth it

2 more months it will be over,
a short chapter of life,
maybe happy maybe not
but will sure be glad
looking forward for the next,
how the story goes no one know,
till then, i only look,
for now just plan and let things go...

wondering what how and why

i didn smile much today

nothing new nothing bad

just the sick feeling again

blame it on exams,

blame it on people,

curse them all you want

but still things don't change

oh well,

better walk along,

than hitting a wall.

sigh.....

i dun know what i am typing.... dont really feel like being human today..... most prob will not appear here for the time being... till then..
