rubik cube

imagine life is like an un arrange rubik cube. trying to arrange one side to make it a perfectly a same color is pretty easy right?? how about making all sides the same color =) not many has the skills to do so.

lets put our life's into perspective. in today's society, everyone is aiming to be a prefect person. perfect personality, perfect family, perfect home, perfect choices and all. yet most of us will agree in this world, there is no such thing as perfect. the definition of perfect could mean the best of all, yet nothing will satisfy the craving of perfectness in human nature. a primary 5 kid will aim for a 100% for his/her test which he/she consider perfect score. yet as an adult, whats perfect? the word perfect has been use to lure all kinds of people into getting stuff, perfect holiday destination, perfect home, perfect car and perfect job. and 2 days later the once said perfect will be no longer be the perfect choice as a new perfect choice appear. so what happens to those that made the perfect choice before??

sadly, choices human are creatures that link to other creatures(including plants and animals) that share the same place they are living in. humans are link to other humans some way or other. therefore decisions made by a single human will cause a domino effect to others as well.. in fact there is a chance the decision made is part of a domino effect of another decision the other end of earth.

back to the rubik story. by aiming to be a perfect person, one might cause other creatures into more misery IF the person works alone. and if a perfect person doesn't want to give way, then others will not be able to be perfect. yet, if an imperfect person, refuse to be perfect, then others might not be able to be perfect as well. complex?? not really.

a twisting motion of a rubik cube will cause changes to at lease 3 other sides of the cube. if a single side refuse to move, then the other sides will not be able to move as well. putting it into life, if a perfect person refuse to give in and just being selfish, although he might not know it, but he's causing suffering to other people around him/her. if fact, he might break other's perfect life just be be perfect himself. good examples are drug dealers... by selling drugs to earn money and get what he wants, he destroy life of others.

so, what other want to be perfect, and just a single person refuse to be perfect? going back to the rubik cube, imagine a un-arranged rubik cube, all other five sides wants to have the same color, but the 6th side refuse to move. is it possible to solve the rubik puzzle?? lets say the 6th side has only green blue and yellow.. so u might think that the red and white surface will not be affected right? not exactly. thou the white and red surface might not be directly affected by the 6th side, but maybe the last pieces to complete both red and white is in green. therefore, the main problem causing thing is still in the 6th side refusing to move. in life, we rely on others to gain what we need to be perfect, and others rely on us in the same reasons and this goes on linking everyone together. if someone in the middle of the chain refuse to give what others need, then everyone behind the chain will be affected.

it is not impossible to solve a rubik cube, which in a way shows to us that all of us could have a perfect life if we are more willing to change, to give and take, and less selfish. if all side of a rubik cube is willing to move and change places even if the move away from its own side for a moment, at the end, it will sure return to its own side to make a complete perfect rubik cube. just as life, if we are willing to share our most important share such as time(volunteering) or money(donation) or even by spending 1 hour having a needle stuck in your arm to donate blood or blood products. afterall what goes around come around right.

all in a days work

you know its a one of those not-so-good-day to work when
  • u woke up late today
  • ur phone battery died
  • it rained heavily when u walked to work
  • at work, thing that are not suppose to break broke
  • not once.. but twice!!
  • u curse out loud..
  • u spend extra 1 hour to repair the broken bits
  • u were shivering the whole time in the workplace
  • your measurements went way off what it suppose to be
  • u spend 3 and a half hours just to do a 2 hour job
  • u know the final product you made is not your best
  • u wanted the day to end earlier
  • ur fingers went numb till u cant feel anything
  • u dont want to leave the house once u reach home
  • u do the safest thing.. by doing nothing
  • at the end of the day.. u just want to sleep.. and start the new day hoping for better
