the orange

gosh... its that time of the year again where everyone is going "how's ur exams preperation going" than the normal "how are you?? " to start a conversation. in another 18 days, we will be having our 1st paper of the 2nd year as a podiatry student. and when exam comes, its the time where drinking coffee to stay awake and not sleep is forgiven ^^

its been a long while since i last updated this site. previous post was in april, and now its already june. i have a few post typed in draff, yet i didn post it up due to my own reasons, this site isn't as close as before a few years back where i basically rant everything and anything out over here. now... lets just say life is getting more complicated where i rather spend more time in trying to uncomplicate things than ranting everything out and hope it goes uncomplicated by itself.

recent updates on uni will be, been seeing patients, and so far 1st few clinical sessions went pretty well *i think* all the people i seen still have their 10 toes with them and non of them came back in with toes dropping off their feet yet.. *fingers cross*. as usual, this year being balancing work, studies and social life again. given previous experiences, i manage to balance out my time more better now.. saying more 'no' than 'yes' and erm.. basically isolating myself from time to time. big thanks to the gang that help me through the weeks where im rushing tru the assignments while the need to complete the notice board. i will be dead if u guys didn help me with that.

sometimes people wonder why i work every week, while actually i could just finish uni without working any part time jobs. well, given the current working hours and amount, basically i could self support my meals, and bills which is something i'm pretty proud of myself. of course as a student, especially in uni, failing isn't an option plus, now i have stuff that makes failing a horrible nightmare, anyway, the most happiest thing of all, i could get the things i like myself. recent buying that made me pretty sad, yet happy will be my new dell laptop.

i do wonder sometimes, how the local students do it. initially, i thought because they are staying with their family, they could manage their time better, since they dont have to cook and do house chores, but after knowing a friend of mine that basically self-support and study together, (she basically pays eveyrthing herself.. rent, bills, food etc. etc.) i started to wonder.. how can she do it?? as a student from malaysia, studing and working at the same time isn't our culture at all. we tend to concentrate on studying, and ENJOYING Uni life before starting to work. i do understand that mindset since i was brought up in malaysia to start with. yet sometimes i do get disappointed when people thinsk that its my lost as i cant spend time ENJOYING uni life as i got work to do. i'll get back to this topic after my exams.. holidays are really the best time to work!!! =P and yesh.. im planing to do so.. so dont stop me.

oh and yes, im going back home, sandakan, malaysia this coming summer break!! will be a short trip given i've been away from malaysia for 1 year plus now. funny, i realise i'm not a home sick person, but i make a new home everywhere i go.. =x wonder if this is a good thing?? haha.. and of course i like to go back and enjoy food n stuff back home, but i dont really mind staying back here not going back for the summer break too. is this normal?? neway.. im heading home in febuary next year.. till march.

anyway, off to class now.
