.
now that i realise, the times with my old biology lecturer really helps me in Uni. Ms Tan, my 1st year (a-level) biology lecturer is famous for her 'teaching skills'. but with her help, the things she thought still linger around my mind. and by this, i am able to understand what is happening in lecturers. and i am also able to laugh at others as they had never cover what is DNA replication in their prevoius studies.... muahahahhaha.. evil me.. anyway, the malays proverb (losely translated) 'hard hard 1st, easy easy later' really holds its truth. hahha..
.
adelaide has officially change into autumn. leaves which are once green now turning yellow and dropping and the current temperature now is 12 degrees. no... 12 degrees is not really fun. just imagine you are being in an air con room for 12 degrees 24 hours a day... 7 days a week. hahaha.. jacket n gloves really help and maybe my skaf will roll out of the cupboard soon. now, i really understand why females need a toilet seat warmer...... >.<

re: i know what you did last jan and feb
the row of brains behind the EB... notice how slacking we were??
so, putting my logical mind offline and using only my 'unlogical' mind, i reply another mail... which made me a very very emo guy[according to CC] which is not true. haha.. anyway, thinking back all the moments in EB, it was great. 2 months filled with action pack adventures, twisted plots, tense moments, hilarious actions and quotes, and most of all, great bonds grow between everyone.
'on the track,i think that they(U ALL) deserved all the credit....' (quote from CC)
keeping things running on the track is not only because we are great, is because its obvious that all of us gave our best in everything we do in the team. its obvious to my eyes, many of you is willing to sacrifice lecture time just to keep up with all the EB work. and from this, i guess most of us didn't do well for our 1st progress test.. haha..
EB is a team that work behind the scenes of the daily life in IS. many of us carried this post without any official announcement to everyone, and at the end, we will just dissolve quietly back into the population. but in everyone of us, we learn and gain great experience. making snap decisions, speaking in front of the stage and some might even experience being drag into the politics of the school.. haha.. nevertheless, i believe all of us gain valuable experience that somehow merge into our lives.
oh not forgetting, there are many year1 members that help us too... therefore, many thanks to you guys too =) if u are reading this. hahaha.
13 high coms, 13 great brains, now separated by land and sea. UK, australia, singapore and malaysia. all of us now chasing our own dreams. it will be great to meet up somewhere on this surface of the earth and have a chat don't you think?? haha. who knows, the next time when we meet, all of us will be with our partners and maybe 'some' of us carrying kids d?? *nudge CC* hahaha
anyway, all the best to the 13 of you out, CC, yi sing, sasa, ah jen, deline, didi, jason, chee hoe, has, norman, huiying, sylvia, and not forgetting, chinn yuan. for those singles, look hard, your partners are out there somewhere. for those couples, cherish and be nice to each other ya. haha.. all the best in all your undertakings. be nice, have fun, enjoy life to the max and take care, where ever you are =)
CC, like you ordered, touching and sweet =)
smiles and hugs,

last weekend, i started posting about education during early life... here is part 2
part 2 (at high school)
remember the times when we spend lots of our times in high school?? for some of us, going to school will be the most hateful thing to do in the early monday mornings. dragging one self out of bed before the sun rises, getting ready in the cold and dark mornings, hop on a bus and arrive to being welcome by the noise of the ringing bell and the smell of sweat in school.
in high school, learning approach basically changes compare to early life. in high school, teachers either spoon feed students with vital information to score well in exams or, force feed additional information that students deem unnecessary or unimportant. subjects such as moral education is a total waste of time and energy. then, students are given pack to the brim time tables starting from early morning till the afternoons.
in classes, teachers will make students copy notes and do exercise. the student's understanding of a certain subject is then tested in monthly progress test and also in major exams. there are also assignments, projects, group work and also quizzes for the teachers to help students in either making the subject more understandable, or to measure how the student develop throughout the year.
all above are the usual education. but students in high school will be expose to many other types of education such as, social skills, leadership, and also communications skills. although this skills are not written in textbooks, but this skills are vital in becoming a better person. this skills also help people to discover hidden talents in them and make themselves stand higher than the usual crowd. stress control and failure tolerance is also as vital as the other skills is also being expose to the students.
making friends and learning how to get along with people is as important as many other important science or maths subjects. no man is an island. in high school, most of us will go through the phases of making friends, being in a group, being back stab (eek), and many more is consider the normal phases in high school. all this goes well under human relationships which is another thing book can't teach or guide students. getting along with people will be very important in the next step of education, as a young adult.
as a conclusion, high school education is more of a building block for students to be expose, both educationally, socially and also personally. these exposure is to help students to understand how to world goes round.

programing
last year i upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and notice a distinct slowdown in overall system performance - particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operate flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
in addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as AFL 2.003, NFL 5.00, NBA 3.00 and Golf Clubs 4.1
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crash the system.
i have try Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems but to no avail. what can i do
signed
desperate
dear desperate
first keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package while Husband 1.0 is an operating system
please enter the command http:/I thought you love me.html and try to download Tears 6.2 . Don't forget to install Guilt 3.0 update
if that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run application Flowers 3.5 and Jewellery 2.0 . but remember, overuse of this program can cause Husband to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 . Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download Snoring Loudly Beta
whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0(it runs a virus background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).
also, do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. this is an unsupported application and will crash Husband 1.o
in summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. we recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 7.7
good luck

the orange ~ weekly
.
many of us agree that learning is a life long process. lets break it into 3 parts for the time being. early life, school, and early adult.
.
part 1 (early life)
.
we start with early life. When we are born, humans are not as develop as some other animals where since birth, animals are able to walk and run. Humans are basically weak in a baby form and needs protection from the mother. Since birth, mother(or parents) will educate the child by repeating whats right and whats wrong. saying over and over again words like 'pa-pa' n 'ma-ma'. repeating sounds like "mum-mum' for eating and similar sounds for bathing and also giving warning for danger. Most of the education in early life is on repeating to enhance the knowledge into the child's mind. once a child master something, small celebration will be held.. to celebrate the joy of parenthood by parents..
.
as a child grow older, parents will increase knowledge on other things in life. for example, movement like walking, running, catching something, swimming and cycling. all this are skills that will embed into the mind of the child where they will use in the future. for example, cycling is a skill that will stay in the child even when the child grows up. as a child master a skill by practicing everyday and daily encouragement from parents, the child will build up self confidence and be proud of themselves. in the time being, parents will also start to educate the child on table manners, talking to other adults, the P's and Q's of life such as respecting others, not talking to strangeres, not to lie and other similar moral values. as the child is still strongly attach to the parent, this values will be input into the brain strongly and will be put to good use in the child's future.
.
educating a child during the early life is more on repeating and my many examples. although this will change as the child grows up, but an early childhood education is important for the next part of growth.

the guardian....
.
Supervisors are highly social and community-minded, with many rising to positions of responsibility in their school, church, industry, or civic groups. Supervisors are generous with their time and energy, and very often belong to a variety of service clubs, lodges, and associations, supporting them through steady attendance, but also taking an outspoken leadership role. Supervisors like to take charge of groups and are comfortable issuing orders. They are cooperative with their own superiors, and they would like cooperation from the people working under them. Rank, they believe, has its obligations, but it also has its privileges.
.
Comprising at least ten percent of the population, Supervisors enjoy and are good at making schedules, agendas, inventories, and so on, and they much prefer tried and true ways of doing things over speculation and experimentation. Supervisors keep their feet firmly on the ground and would like those under their supervision to do the same, whether employee, subordinate, spouse, or offspring. Supervisors have no problem evaluating others and tend to judge how a person is doing in terms of his or her compliance with, and respect for, schedules and procedures.
.
Supervisors are unbelievably hard-working. Even as children they are industrious, and they usually respect their parents as authority figures. In school Supervisors are often model students, dutifully following directions, doing all their homework, doing it thoroughly, and on time. Above all else, they wish to do what they are supposed to do, and they rarely question the teacher's assignments, method of instruction, standards, or authority. And their industry and perseverance only become more important to them as they grow into adulthood and take on the responsibilities of job and family.
.
Supervisors approach human relations along traditional lines. Marriage and parenthood are sacred to them, and they tend to have a large circle of friends, with many friendships faithfully maintained over the years. Social gatherings and ceremonies have great meaning for them, and they look forward to holiday parties, club dances, weddings, class reunions, awards banquets, and the like. In social situations, Supervisors are friendly and talk easily with others. Though they can seem a bit formal in their manners, Supervisors are pretty easy to get to know. At ease in polite company, they tend not to confuse people by sending double messages or putting on airs-what they seem to be, they are.

.
starting the day in adelaide (going to uni)
.
~wake up, switch to hybernation* mode if weather is cold.
*hybernation here means, the feeling of lazy to remove oneself off the bed due to some reasons exp: weather.
~ switch on computer and the internet
~ while loading, go clean self
~ prepare breakfast and sometimes lunch...
~ look for weather forecast. especially the max and the minimum temperature of the day
==> weather forecast plays an important role in the next step
~ think what to wear.. yes.. guys do think what to wear
==> wear the wrong clothes will cause one to freeze or get cook...
~ apply sunblock
~ apply lip balm
~ think what to bring out
==>things like a jacket... or a windbreaker... or maybe a cap
~ get out of house and to uni
.
after uni
.
~ think is there anything else to do before getting home...
==> shops close at 5 here....
~ bath
==> water temperature need to be adjusted to suit ones needs... if not cold shock down the spine or bright red patch will appear on the back
~ get on with life.
comparing it to life in malaysia... and as a person spending 18 years of his life in a tropical weather, how on earth he remembers to apply sunblock every single time he leave the house?? and applying moisturiser and lip balm is kinda alien to him... hahahaha.. =)
